Whilst exploring Cheshire in a motorhome, why not take a trip to Lyme Hall and Park. Lyme Hall began life as a Tudor house until it was adapted by an architect in the 18th century into an Italianate Palace. Lyme Park offers a beautiful Victorian garden filled with roses. There is also an extensive deer park, moorland and woodland estate.
Lyme Hall and Park is probaby best known as the location where Elizabeth first meets Mr Darcy by the lake in the 1995 TV adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejuduce.
